In 2014, Ruth received her call to work with survivors of sex trafficking. The Lord started to open her heart and eyes towards these women through various events that she attended. That was also the year that she met Shona and started volunteering at Dignity House - a second stage program for ladies coming out of the sex trade.

Presently she is working alongside Setting the Captives Free, an organization that supports and assists sexually exploited ladies. She is the director of prayer and does addictions recovery coaching for the ladies, as well as disciples them.

Ruth has a heart for each of these ladies to know God’s love and find freedom in Christ.

Ruth lives in Winnipeg and has 3 grown children.
