Ryan founded Give the Word in 2013. It started with a passion to share the gospel and to see people come to faith in Christ. Ryan’s goal was to make the Bible free and available to people who wanted to share the gospel. Give the Word has now grown into a full time ministry donating over 50,000 Bible per year to ministries across the country.
Daniel & Ester
The Ministry of Mercy Orphanages (MOM) is a Nigerian registered charity that cares for the physical, medical, educational, and spiritual needs of those in its care. Started in 1992, it is now the largest orphanage in Nigeria with over 400 in care. In 2017 the Ministry of Mercy Medical Centre opened as a 40 bed full service hospital focusing predominantly on maternity issues for those unable to afford medical care. MOM is under the management of Nigerian nationals Daniel and Esther Edeh.
Jean & Christine Hajabakiga
Jean and Christine lead Reformation Christian Center, a ministry they pioneered in Rwanda in 2013. From humble beginnings after they returned to Rwanda, the ministry today operates from a base in the capital, Kigali, with outreach ministries in three rural areas. They operate a thriving church, school, daycare, and numerous community development programs.
Chris & Jane
The Sperlings are a "mixed up" family with Chris growing up in Canada and Jane growing up in Uganda and the children getting to grow up in both countries! We serve as missionaries in Uganda, East Africa under Equip Canada.

This 2017 Nashville Rising Star and Unsigned Only 1st place winner not only sets his sights on pursuing excellence in his craft but does it with a focus on ministering to everyone around him.
Enid Nazziwa is a rural health worker in Uganda who lost her husband to HIV/AIDS sixteen years ago. Through the Good Samaritan Clinic, she spiritually and medically attends to poor HIV/AIDS patients, their families, and the elderly. Enid lives in Budo with her children Isaac, Psalms, Vickie, Catherine and Caroline.
Originally from the small town of Landmark, Manitoba, I grew up in a Christian home but got involved heavily into drugs, alcohol, and gangs and fell away from the Lord. After serving over two years in prison I was released to start the next chapter of my life. After some more severe adversities in Calgary I finally gave it all over to Jesus in the summer of 2015; I was born again!
I joined Give The Word in September of 2014 as a Ministry Development Rep; building relationships with local businesses and churches to raise awareness of how Give the Word can equip ministries, churches and missionaries with resources and Bibles to share the gospel.
Matt & Cheryl Peters
Matt and Cheryl Peters live in Winnipeg’s inner city with their daughter Eleah Rain (a true miracle baby and answer to prayer and promise). They find themselves connected to many young people and couples seeking counselling, coaching, and encouragement.
The Spirit Room offers free prophecy and healing appointments as a way to help people connect with Jesus. We have people who come for appointments from all types of spiritual backgrounds. We also offer workshops and a training program for people who are interested in spiritual gifts.
BRIAN & RUTH
Known as the “Interlake” of Manitoba, Brian and Ruth hail from their farm 5 miles North of Riverton. Having been farmers and business entrepreneurs who are passionate followers of Jesus, mission has always been a way of life.
JESSE & STEPH
Jesse and Steph Singleton along with their five children started Kingdom Outreach as a means to offer up a conversation and an opportunity to love people where they are. Kingdom Outreach started in 2016, promoting and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving coffee, food and giving out clothing donations and sharing the opportunity for salvation to the homeless and less fortunate on the streets of Calgary.
Danny’s message inspires people to be passionate about Christ and the call to build His kingdom. Taking the gospel to some of the most unreached parts of the world is at the heart of his work. Whether unsaved, seeking, or believers looking for the next level, Danny’s speaking has something for them all.
ASH & HEIDI KHALIL
Ash, an Egyptian born, American citizen of the U.S.A., married to Heidi and have 5 children, lived in Oklahoma among the Amish for years.They are reaching out to the homeless and needy men, women and families in the community physically and with the Love and Truth of the Gospel of Jesus.
Shona Stewart has been working with trafficked and exploited women for over 15 yrs. This work is a calling as she was trafficked and exploited for 16 yrs prior to turning her life over to Jesus.
MICHAEL & GRACE
The prison environment is a dark and hopeless place, where prisoners face violence, anger, Gangs and loneliness every day. Every week we step into this darkness to hold chapel services at various facilities for Manitoba Corrections. Ministering through song, discussion and biblical messages, inmates learn they are worthy of God’s love and forgiveness
Al, together with his family, started Radio Beyond the Rock as a Christian internet radio station in 2016 with the ambition to share their favorite Christian music to all who would listen.
Jonathan Bryden was born in BC on Vancouver Island and grew up going to church. He heard the Gospel at a young age and came to know Christ personally when he was a child. Jonathan has struggled with same-sex attraction for most of his life and is currently living a celibate life in pursuit of Jesus and is passionate in helping the church know how to face the struggle of homosexuality in our culture from a Biblical perspective.
Christine is best described as a passionate Christ follower, wife, mother, cancer survivor, Evangelist, church planter, teacher and public speaker. Christine, together with her husband Jeff, live in Kitchener, Ontario. They have been blessed with 4 miracle children. 3 through adoption and one biological son through the gift of surrogate.
